ALPINE PRINCESS (3) finished second when resuming two runs back in the G3 Royal Delta Stakes at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) then progressed nicely last time out to score by 0.3 lengths over 1710m in the G2 Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland (Dirt). I Ortiz Jr scored on her last time and retains the mount. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task.
