GETTINBY (4) was quickly into stride and went on to score by a nose last time out over 1106m at Los Alamitos (Dirt). This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. SPECIAL CLUB (3) built on a nice second two starts back at Del Mar (Dirt) with success as public elect over 1308m at Del Mar (Dirt) six weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Umberto Rispoli scored on him last time and retains the mount. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done again. OTTO THE CONQUEROR (1) steps up in trip after he was well held last time in eighth over 1006m at Del Mar Turf (Turf). Sound record at this distance with two wins and three minor placings from six runs and is expected to be competitive. JERRY'S SPIRIT (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1106m at Los Alamitos (Dirt), beaten 5.5 lengths. Has started three times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention.
