Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. D'S FOUR THUMBS UP (5) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1106m at Del Mar (Dirt) in a tougher race. Likely improver so he is among the leading chances. SMOKEM THIRSTY (3) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 1106m at Del Mar (Dirt) on September 6. Should be competitive.
