PROMISSIO (6) resumed six weeks ago over 1811m at this track and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Strips fitter and can go on to take this out. SMOOTH SALUTE (7) progressed nicely last time out when he made late ground to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1811m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
