Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. VANTASTIC (11) returns from a spell. Finished second at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep 12 weeks ago. Rates highly and should take beating. VERITAS AEQUITAS (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1609m at Los Alamitos, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. DON'T SWEAR DAVE (7) returns from a layoff of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1207m at this track. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Hector O Palma.
