Sandown Park Race 5 - Best Odds At Oddschecker Novices' Hurdle (Gbb Race)
OTIE'S FRIEND (3) made a pleasing start to his hurdling career when running 6.5L third over 4000m at Cheltenham a fortnight ago. Victorious in a national hunt flat race during March (3600m) and is considered against this small field. NIMBA (2) similarly finished third beaten 5.25L on opening start tackling obstacles at Chepstow (3900m) last month. Previous winner of a point and a Catterick jumpers flat last November. Should be up to the challenge here. CLEMENTSHILL LAD (1) arrives for his rules debut representing the Harriet Dickin stable. Managed to take a point at the second attempt in March. Cannot be ignored.
