Siding with the South Australian raider PRETTY BABY (4) who looks a very promising filly on the up. She's won her past three, first up dominantly over 1050m then again far too good lugging 60.5kg over 1250m coming from last off a fast tempo. She wants speed on and if Melham sticks close enough from the good gate she'll be very hard to hold out. Wary of SAINTLY DANCER (12) who looks a promising type. She just missed on debut then won nicely last time out beating GHANA'S AKAN who had been very competitive with the better 2yo's in Melbourne. PROFLIGATE (8) resumes having shown ability in two runs to date. Second to Blind Raise before a spell reads well, she looks a big price. PORTINARI (10) got too far back but closed off well behind Natural Fling last time which could be G1 form in a couple of hours. She draws much better here. GHANA'S AKAN (6) had her chance last time but is in the mix again.
