Sandown Race 1 - The Valley @ Sandown Hcp
Keen to side with VALLICE (6) in the opener who presents second up off a short break. He was a good winner over this trip before that break and caught the eye first up at Caulfield Heath over 1200m, coming from last to get within a length of the winner. Should come on nicely up in trip and Zahra goes on now. JUDAS TREE (8) is tricky given he's nearly five weeks between runs, going up in trip for a first go at 1400m. That said, he looks promising and beat all bar American Eagle last time with COMMIT running into third. HYDROBOMB (2) resumes. He last tackled a stakes race in Sydney over a mile and was very well backed that day. The win prior over this trip was good from a long way back. Double figures looks generous. COMMIT (5) had every hope last time but ran well, not sure he's crying out for more ground but his run behind JUDAS TREE was good which ties in. AUTUMN LOVER (9) won well enough fresh and was close up behind HYDROBOMB in the Autumn.
