GALLANT SON (8) looked like a potentially top-liner when streeting his rivals on debut and was immediately put away to target some spring features. Has to be a factor here if the stable has eyes on bigger prizes. BLUE STRATUM (1) was given his shot at Group 3 grade last time after a couple of slick wins and the drop back to 1000m here looks more to his liking. Conversely, ALDOLFITO (3) probably wants it a little further than 1000m but should good tenacity in his debut win and can win again. HARPALEE (4) will find this much more to her liking than the first-up run in Listed grade, when not beaten all that far. ANOTHER PROPHET (7) finished alongside HARPALEE last start, so must also be in the mix.

Will find this easier than the Vain Stks and better suited back to 1000m.
