Salisbury Race 2 - 'Pyledriver' British Ebf Novice Stakes (Gbb Race) (Div 1)
METICULOUSLY (6) was unlucky not to finish closer than his 1.75L fourth at Leicester (1400m) providing opening run three weeks ago. Anticipate he will take a step forward now. FOREST BAY (13) is a newcomer of some note for the Ralph Beckett yard. By New Bay and a half-sibling to numerous smart performers including Forest Of Dean and State Occasion. Likely danger first up. GOLD ARMY (2) made the frame both outings to date on the all-weather over 1400m. Worn down into second beaten 1L at Kempton last time. Should threaten. TURBO CHARGER (9) represents the Charlie Hills stable making his first racecourse appearance. No surprise if he figures.
