Hard to go past the barnstorming finish of MADIYYA (11) on debut when runner up. Got well back but charged home to just miss and can only be improved. Follow up. KOONDAKAARA (5) is from a form yard and overdue for a win. Raced on speed and just missed last time and can get off the mark here. LUCKY DIAMOND (6) is another close to breaking through. Well fancied last time over the mile and finished fourth after a nose defeat the start prior. Expected to feature again. UZVARA (9) is a 3yo gelding who has had three hit-outs leading to this, the latest a jump-out at Pakenham over 1000m. Looks a capable type and will be competitive.
