GINGER SWEET (9) ran well first up at Caulfield Heath over 1500m in a handy Class 1, sticking on nicely for third. She'll be fitter for that and the rise in trip suits. Shinn sticks and can offset the wide draw. EYE FOR AN EYE (4) resumes. He showed good promise in his maiden campaign, winning his maiden over this sort of trip at Geelong at start two before measuring up well in a 3yo race at Caulfield. He can return in good form. SHINY NEW DEEL (2) could be an improver third up and the rise to this sort of trip should suit the son of Dundeel. He can be hitting the line strongly. SOUND IT OUT (7) resumed from a spell last start with a win by 1.75 lengths over 1514m at Yarra Valley. Harder here but can contest for a place.
