MOON OF THE GOROUS (6) is the proven in-form danger after scoring by half a length from Twinkle Vita last start; the prior third behind TIMBRE TESORO was well beaten, but she has still won or placed in each of three runs. TIMBRE TESORO (1) has to rebound from a fifth behind Miyano Goodly, yet her six-length win the start before and the recent edge over MOON OF THE GOROUS keep her in the mix. DAIMEI SANSHI (2) remains winless, but his last-start finish was better than the bare fifth and he has placed in half of his four runs, making him a realistic minor upset hope.
