PROXIMA DEA (11) high up in VRC Oaks betting and comes here proven at the trip. Strong through the line to remain undefeated at her third start over 1800m here six weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent 1030m trial win at Rosehill. Has options from the draw and hard to stop with Lloyd aboard. STORMY MARCO (2) unlucky not to win the J J Atkins over 1600m last June and ready to produce third up. Ugly map and ran accordingly when ninth over 1400m in the G1 Golden Rose Stakes at this track. Top three contender. GENESIS RUNNER (5) peaked on the run with a narrow second in the LR Dulcify Stakes over 1600m at Randwick last Saturday. At his top now and no excuses today. CORMIER (1) stakes placed colt held in high regard by the yard. Found the 1400m too sharp when eighth in the Golden Rose Stakes at this track. Gets up to his optimum trip with map favours. Each way.
