Rosehill Race 9 - Racing And Sports Doncaster Prelude (G3)

WELWAL (9) goes well over this track and trip and won't know himself with the 55.5kg. Held up in the early part of the straight and savaged the line with an unlucky fourth in the LR National Sprint over 1400m at Canberra. Hard to hold out at the good odds. ENXUTO (13) warmed up when the race was all over to secure third in the G2 Ajax over the 1500m here. No excuses here with a more genuine tempo. Has a big win in him this prep. LORD PENMAN (14) snagged back from the wide draw and like the way he finished off when seventh in the G2 Ajax. Primed for this third-up from the better barrier and looks the polished product this prep. FEROCE (5) went under narrowly first-up in the G3 Heffernan, then disappointed when seventh in the G1 Futurity Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield. Since fitted with a Flemington jump out win over 1000m. Maps well and set to bounce back. HELLSING (16) back in trip and never comfortable in the shifty going when tenth in the National Sprint at Canberra. Improver.
