PIGGYBACK (14) good staying mare who won the Colin Stephen with plenty in hand last prep. Resumed off the one trial with a solid fifth over 1600m at Randwick. Gets a better setup today from the draw and has genuine claims. SAM HAWKENS (15) imported gelding resuming. Disappointed at his first Australian start with a fading seventh in the G3 St Leger over 2600m at Randwick last October. Impressed in both trials and capable of taking this out.
