PEVS ROCK STAR (1) finished fifth over 302m at this track when resuming last start, beaten only 0.7 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. DASHING AVERY (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.1 lengths over 229m at this track (Dirt).
