RANTAN (1) is heading the right way with her form, and tried hard last start when finishing third over 1000m at Warwick Farm 3 weeks ago, travelling more handy than usual and sticking on well. She finds a very suitable race here, and she should be among the hardest to beat. SOUTHERN HEIRESS (3) has been around the mark in her past two runs, including a solid fourth over 1200m at Canterbury after racing prominently throughout, and if she strikes her preferred wet ground, she can take this out. HORSESHOE HILL (4) resumed in the Fireball Stakes at Randwick 18 days ago and, after getting back from a slow start, she ran on nicely late that day. She will find this company more suitable, and can be a quick improver. Include. SURF'S UP (2) resumes after a spell, and she showed plenty of ability during the spring.
