WARWOVEN (4) unbeaten colt who retains Golden Slipper favouritism after going amiss on Magic Millions eve. Has looked the dominant colt all season and can keep the Slipper dream alive off the eight-week let-up. No excuses from the draw. FIREBALL (1) talented colt yet to taste defeat in two outings. Has closed strongly in both wins but doesn't get the same map favours here. Will run the trip and J Mac will be hoping they overdo it up front. PLAGIARISM (5) poorly drawn again after he had to cover ground in the run first-up with a fading sixth over 1100m in the LR Inglis Millennium at this track. Likely to push forward and not without each-way claims. HIGH ALERT (7) comes here third-up and has the upside to figure prominently with the tongue-tie going on. Both runs had merit in the Blue Diamond Preview's and gets the soft run from the draw. Going better than his price suggests and expecting Rawiller to get the best out of him. KNIGHTSBRIDGE (2) no luck at the Gold Coast and keep safe.
