MISS CHANEL (4) was slow to recover last start at Rosehill yet still fell only a neck short, which says plenty about where she's at. She's peaking now, draws well, and looks ready to put it all together. PERSIAN WONDER (2) trialled sharply before contesting the G3 Canonbury two weeks ago, where he never got warm, but McDonald taking over from a soft draw is a significant signal. Expect sharp improvement. OUTSPAN (1) broke through stylishly at Rosehill and has been kept fresh with a month between runs. He'll likely drift back from the wide alley but will be looking to round them up late. CIARON'S STAR (5) was only fair on debut but should take natural improvement, and with Berry in red-hot form she can elevate quickly. AVENGERS (3) is a Snitzel colt on debut for the Freedman team. Impressed in his latest trial and is one to keep safe at a price.
