Presque Isle Downs Race 6 - Race 6 - Allowance Optional Claiming

COUGAR COCKTAIL (2) is a progressive four-year-old filly who hasn't raced since finishing second over 1106m at Colonial Downs Turf (Turf) on July 24 which was the only run of that prep. Has never been out of the placings first up from two tries. Should camp just off the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. MITOLE MAGIC (4) has been freshened up since a disappointing fifth over 1308m in the G2 Presque Isle Downs Masters Stakes at this track (Synthetic) a month ago. Well placed to make amends. WHEREVER WE ARE (6) turned in a fine effort to win by a nose at today's course and distance last time out to continue her outstanding recent form. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. SMOOCH UP (7) is having her first run since July 20. Has a strong record when fresh with two wins from two runs, the most recent over 1308m at this track at the start of last prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
