Presque Isle Downs Race 7 - Race 7 - Starter Optional Claiming

PASSIONED (6) was a gutsy winner last time over 1673m at Finger Lakes (Dirt), scoring by 0.8 lengths to make it two wins in a row. Should camp just off the leaders. Leading contender. RETEKO (5) ran below expectations last time at this track (Synthetic), finishing eighth and beaten 13 lengths starting at $5.70. Finds an easier assignment and can make amends. BRILLIANT JOURNEY (1) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 4 lengths away in second over 1710m at this track (Synthetic). Looks well placed so expect another big run. STARSHIP EMPIRE (7) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 2012m at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Well placed and can make amends.
