Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. SHIFTY GOLD (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1609m at this track, beaten 0.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LUCKY BIRD (1) is a promising type who scored at his only run last prep nine months ago over 1207m at this track (Dirt).
