Pontefract Race 1 - British Ebf Novice Stakes (Gbb/Gbbplus Race)
NARRJOO (1) is yet to finish outside the top-two in two career appearances. Placed second on debut at Doncaster before winning by 0.75L a 1500m maiden at Ffos Las. May complete a double. BELOVED COUNTRY (2) is yet to make the frame in two career outings so far. Debuted seventh at Sandown Park before filling the same position in a maiden at Doncaster. Improvement expected. TOO DARN REGAL (5) was slightly disappointing when debuting eighth in a 1400m maiden at Ascot last month. More to come. CANVAS POWER (3) is the sole debutant in the field. This Cracksman gelding could have an impact first-up.
