Draws handy and may take a trail today. Rates tough to beat regardless. QUEEN ARIA (3) has been around the mark at Ascot and likely had excuses over 1400m the latest. Has a strong record over 1600m, and the engagement of winning rider Pike is noteworthy. HOWDY (2) is a former Victorian who found more like his best beaten less than 2L at Belmont, second-up. Has an awkward gate, but the 2kg claim is handy, and he also has claims. TOUSLED CROWN (4) led and won easily over 1500m at Albany and then just missed at Ascot this trip, stalking the speed.
