Draws low today and will be tough to beat. PLAYA DEL SOL (9) progressed nicely third-up, beaten just 0.6 lengths over 1200m at Pinjarra Scarpside after stalking the lead. Has to manage a wide gate today, but keeps the in-form Fiore, and she's been kept on the fresh side. Goes close with average luck. BELLE OF BONDI (11) debuts, and Faithfull sticks from a winning Lark Hill trial. On that effort, she deserves a betting watch. LAND OF NOD (6) debuts for the top metro barn. He's also trialled at Lark Hill on three occasions and has the blinkers and a tongue tie on. Tough to risk the yard, and it won't surprise if he goes well.
