Palermo Race 5 - Witness Hcp
NEVADO CATEDRAL (4) was prominent from the outset when third over 1600m at San Isidro last time out. Form here at this journey is very good. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Likely to feature. SUWALKI GAP (5) finished fourth two runs back at San Isidro then improved last time out to score by half a length over 2000m at La Plata. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. LAGO NAHUEL HUAPI (2) was well held in the won by The Gladiator's Hat over 2400m at La Plata at his last appearance 11 months ago. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the top 4 contenders. BRASILERO FRANCISCO (3) did little and finished 30 lengths from the winner in 14th over 1600m at Azul last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. The engagement of Juan Cruz Villagra is noteworthy. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise.
