Tricky race with a few debutants stepping out against a raced brigade that is yet to log a minor placing between them. For that reason, siding with PLEASING SMILE (6) who has been the best of the unraced at the jumpouts. Has had three at Flemington in preparation for this, including a handy second placing last time out. Should be ready to fire here. BRAVE DANZA (2) was well held on debut but that race was won by a horse who started favourite and narrowly missed at Sandown on Wednesday. The trials prior suggest BRAVE DANZA is worthy of another chance. GREGOLY (3) hasn't set the world on fire at the jumpouts but is on debut at home and is from a canny stable, so must be respected. BLUE ENSIGN (1) is the most experienced horse in the race with two starts, the latest in a strong city maiden and he has trialled well ahead of the return. CAMEGITCHEE (7) ran second in a recent Mornington jumpout so a forward showing wouldn't shock, especially if there is market support.
