ENDEMIC (10) gets the nod after two solid thirds to begin her career, the latest at Ballarat when beaten a length by Millsy's Award and again respected near the top of betting. She is third-up, has shown enough professionalism to hold her form and should go well on her home deck. VIKING KID (6) has the upside to test her after finishing third on debut at Pakenham Synthetic, where he was slow away before working into the money. She profiles well for the Shinn/Price & Kent Jnr combination, which is potent here. The Begg pair of FINE AND SUNNY (11) and VIA THERESA (12) can improve at their third starts, up to a mile suits both but they do have a bit to find.
