Has an awkward gate, but Jamie Melham sticking aboard is a decent push for his chances. The blinkers go on again, and with average luck, he can go one better. CUSHIONED (12) was expected to win over a mile at Ballarat but drew out and was caught wide. Turned in a better run last time when fourth, beaten 3 lengths, at Ballarat over 1600m. Has an awkward barrier again, but she will be suited stepping up to a middle distance. Has more up her sleeve and will keep improving for a top yard. KINGS DOMAIN (7) led and boxed on here over a mile, and the colt tackles a 2000m for the first time. May take a sit today, and he's showing enough potential to consider. CERTAINLY QUIET (11) comes out of the same contest and finished a whisker ahead of the above. Needs a good ride from the wide gate, but she also has more to offer.
