His form last time in reads well behind some subsequent stakes performers, ending up running third to a talented horse in Different Gravy at Listed level before a break. 1400m fresh looks a nice kickoff and he can prove too strong. CAFE AU LAIT (10) has been good in two runs back, finding the line strongly here second up over 1200m in good time. She can peak to 1400m now having drawn well. CHILLIES (3) was sent out a $12 chance on debut in October but proved too strong late to win well, since given a spell. That was 1600m but he's hard to knock. MAHERS LANDING (5) resumes. He showed good ability in three runs last time in and can continue to progress. REDWOOD LANE (6) won well on debut at Seymour and can return in good fashion here off a short break.
