AFTERBERNA (8) narrowly on top. She ran a good race first up here over 1100m, finding the line strongly to be beaten a head. She'll be fitter for that and should improve out to 1200m. Ethan Brown can settle her handy from the good draw and she'll go close from there. OYSTER LANE (6) was just fair first up at Geelong when in the market but should be better for that. His 2-year-old form reads well for this and he can improve quickly. STUNTMAN (7) is a gelding by Circus Maximus on debut for the McEvoy yard. He won a recent jumpout and should acquit himself well. PLUNGER (4) is a gelding by Ace High on debut for Enver Jusufovic who has won a couple of trials leading in and looks ready to go. Respecting. LIGHTWATCH (5) made good improvement here second up and can take this out.
