SINGLETARY (2) made progress in 2 starts earlier in the season at Ellerslie, and he has been tuned up for this with a recent trial at Foxton. He cops a tricky gate, but he is right up to winning this fresh. SONAR (1) fought on gamely to score on debut by a nose at Te Aroha nearly 3 weeks ago. He is drawn to receive the run of the race, and he is sure to be very competitive again. HONORABLE (3) set the pace and stuck on gamely for second when making his debut at Matamata nearly 6 weeks ago. He will naturally improve from that run, and his first win is not far away. BACK OF THE BUS (4) won a nice race at Ellerslie in her penultimate start, and then was a game third in the Castletown Stakes here 15 days ago. She has a fitness edge over her rivals, and is well placed to take this out. O'BABY (5) resumes from a spell, and she would only have to run up to her debut winning effort at Woodville to be a solid each-way chance in this. Follow any market moves.
