TARDIS (2) led all the way when winning his maiden at Te Aroha in his penultimate start, and then gave a great sight in front in a much tougher field at Ellerslie nearly 3 weeks ago when finishing third by a head. He is good enough to overcome a wide gate and win this. HONOUR ROLL (1) has been kept on ice since winning his last start at Matamata by well over 3 lengths nearly 2 months ago. The leading Walker/Bergerson stable would have had this race in mind for him for a while, and they are seldom wrong. Hard to beat again. DUBAWI DIVA (5) showed a lot of courage when winning her debut at Matamata nearly 4 weeks ago on a soft track. She was well-found in the market that day, and she can go on with the job. Each-way. SHAMELIA KIRK (7) was surprisingly beaten as a warm favourite on debut before showing her class by bolting in at Trentham at her next start a month ago. Go again. BACK OF THE BUS (4) beat the top pick in the same race at Ellerslie, and she can repeat the dose.
