INCANDESCENT (1) closed off strongly at Pukekohe last start to finish third, beaten less than a length, and he is having his fifth start while still in his initial campaign. He is tough enough to go one better here. KA RON (2) comes out of the Karaka Millions, where he was thrown in the deep end, finishing out of the money. He has had time to get over that run and, in a far more suitable assignment, expect him to be rattling home. Each way. WALKIN IN MEMPHIS (3) showed promise on debut when finishing sixth at Pukekohe, less than 2 lengths from the winner, and with natural improvement, he is right in the mix. Include in all top 4 combos. FIRST LIGHT (6) resumed with a tidy sixth at Matamata over 1050m, and she should take a big step forward second-up over a longer trip of 1300m. Bruno Queiroz steps into the irons, and the pair can't be taken lightly. NANESSE (7) makes her debut off the back of some tidy trials. Let the market be the guide.
