INSPIRITU (3) ran a couple of good races in her initial prep and has been given time to mature. She was not far away in a recent trial, and being fresh up at 1400m suggests that she has had plenty of work at home. She won't be in maiden class for much longer. LA CHAPARRON (7) has been trying to win a race for some time, and was a fast-finishing third at Bathurst last start. She has the pole position third up from a spell on her home track, and is nicely poised to break through for an overdue win. NUTBUSH DANCER (4) is peaking at the right time here, and she should relish getting out over 1400m for the first time, especially after the way she finished off her last start at Canberra over 1200m. Each way. LISTEN TO WIN (1) is a lightly tried 6YO gelding resuming from a spell, and he will be ready to rumble fresh. Check the market moves. RIDGEBACK (8) led and blew out at Dubbo last start, and with this being easier than his last couple of runs, he deserves another chance.
