TENDERIZE (4) returned an excellent figure two back when beaten a neck in a Rosehill Highway over 1500m. That effort may have flattened him as the subsequent run was mediocre. In the right race to bounce back to form. Progressive four-year-old SARRISMO (2) is yet to miss the frame in eight starts. Made it two from two this prep when he led for home and held on over this distance at Doomben last time out when fresh from a 38-day let-up. Has a big weight but it is warranted on the back of strong form in town. ACHESON (7) is also lining up for the hat trick after closing strongly to win in open company over this distance at Canberra recently. Gets loads of weight off some key rivals which brings him right into contention. CANADIAN RULER (3) tired late to finish down the track in the Country Championship final at Randwick 13 days ago. Won't find this as hard and getting to the mile should suit. Honest mare SLINKY (5) is going well and is one for the exotics.
