Expecting sharp improvement with the blinkers on. LONG TIME LOVERS (5) got a long way back at Dubbo but closed off nicely to finish a close fifth. Finds the maiden win elusive but gets a good chance to break the ice. NARMER (2) is a four-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Michael Mulholland. By American Pharoah from Power Lady. Comes here off a Dubbo trial placing. Can make a bright start. CARAFE (4) bounced straight into a handy position from the inside draw before fading here last time. Expect him to give another sight.
