Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at this track over 1207m. Strong winning chance on best figures. COAL FIRED (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 24 lengths away in ninth over 1308m at Turfway Park. No surprise to see him in contention.
