A tight event where none of the four can be ruled out. KICKING BEAR (3) ran a race full of promise when second behind a potentially smart performer over 1300m at Newbury. Ed Walker trains this juvenile who could take a step forward for that experience and go one spot better here by getting the better of newcomer PROCYON (4). This son of Mehmas has a nice profile and must enter calculations racing for powerful connections. Similar comments apply to the Colin Keane-ridden and John and Thady Gosden-trained AFIF (1) who is a son of Palace Pier. ALTIUS (2) was ultimately well-held when third on debut at Sandown but cannot be ignored representing the all-conquering Charlie Appleby team.
