Newmarket Race 3 - Betway Rockfel Stakes (Fillies' Group 2)
LIGHT OF DAWN (1) has done absolutely nothing wrong in four outings to date and could well continue her progression here. Karl Burke's filly finished an excellent third behind both Libertango and G1 winner Sun Goddess in the G3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and it was no shock to see her back to winning ways in the G3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood last time. She should have no problem dropping back to 1200m and can strike. The main danger could be the unbeaten SPIRITED GESTURE (9) who created a taking impression at Newmaket (July) on debut before following up at Newcastle. SUGAR YES PLEASE (10) won the G3 Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket (July) in August and must be respected on ratings alone. MISS MINIVER (2) cannot be ruled out.
