LEICA STORM (2) has been heavily backed in his last 4 starts after resuming from a very long spell with a third at Kembla Grange at the start of the season. He tried hard on the Kenso track at Randwick 10 days ago when finishing runner-up as the favourite by half a length, and in this even field, he is set to go one better. FREDDIE BASSETT (3) battled away gamely fresh up over 1500m here a fortnight ago when needing the run, and the immediate step up to 1900m is ideal for this progressive gelding. He has 4.5kg less to carry this time, and can figure in the top 3. AGITA (4) should be at his peak fitness now, and will notice the drop in class. Keagan Latham has won all of his 3 starts on this gelding, and with his return to the saddle, he should be very competitive. Each way. BLENHEIM GIRL (7) found trouble when making her run at Rosehill last start, and still motored home to finish second. Stick with her, especially if it is wet.
