HARRY'S HALO (3) strung together three straight placings before he met trouble in the run last start and failed to finish off at Gosford. His best performances measure right up so with the help of a good gate he deserves another chance. INDIGO STAR (1) returns from a 135-day spell. Raced five times last prep, all in town, and turned in some decent efforts although all were on rain affected tracks. Trialled in good style at Warwick Farm recently so a strong return appears on the cards. MAGURTZ (5) was well in commission and looked to have every chance but missed the placings on debut last start at Scone. May have found the 1000m a bit sharp that day so an extra furlong here should see some improvement. KNIGHTS EMPEROR (4) is a Waterhouse/Bott first starter. Went okay in a recent trial at the Kensington track. Keep a close eye on the market moves. Rubick debutante DAMONS ON A BENDER (9) has won both trials and looks set to run a big race.
