Plenty of city form in this better-than-average provincial maiden. WOOTTEN IT BE NICE (14) had difficulty obtaining clear galloping room but once in the clear she stormed home to be beaten under a length on debut over 1250m at Canterbury. Sure to be tough to hold out over the extra 100m today. ONMALONE (4) is deep into his maiden campaign but keeps performing, the latest effort a game third at Canterbury. Cannot be underestimated. LAPIS LAZULI (9) can improve at the third run back from a spell with blinkers on for the first time. CURADO (1) has been rock solid in both starts to date and doesn't have to improve a great deal to be breaking through.
