MYSTERIOUS MASTER (5) is a leader who trialled well before his 1.5L defeat at Hawkesbury first-up. He's placed as favourite on a heavy track at Kembla Grange prior and will present fitter. Has a 1.5kg claim, and on what we've seen, he's the one to beat. CURADO (2) won all three metro trials before a 3L defeat at Gosford on debut when he was heavily bet to win. He's going to be sharper with that under the belt and retains the 1.5kg claim. Supporters will be sticking. Wary of Waller-trained MONOPOLISTIC (4) on debut. He's been well educated and has impressed with a win and a near miss at his two recent metro trials. Draws inside, and a bold run is likely. NOBLE (6) was well in the market but settled too far back at Scone on debut. He went well enough to suggest he can fill out the first four.
