SWEET TALKIN GAL (9) settled back from a wide gate at Ellerslie 11 days ago and fought bravely to hold third after looming on the home turn. That form will hold up in a race like this, and from a better gate, she is the one to beat. ARTHUR (4) was not far away on debut in a stronger field at Ellerslie 18 days ago over 1200m. He had plenty of trial form before that, and will naturally improve with the experience. Watch closely. ROCKMAN (1) ran on gamely to finish second in a 5-horse field here 12 days ago. He has the pole position and is worth including in all combinations. KINGSBROOK DIVA (11) is a local filly making her debut, and she has been to the fore at the jumpouts that are held on this course.
