MOON DART (2) resumes as the horse with the most appealing exposed profile, having placed twice from four starts and already run well at this venue when second to Territory Style. His latest trial was a solid third at Scone, which gives him the right grounding to return sharply, and his one previous try at the distance produced a placing. KING KOOKABAA (7) is the main unknown but has enough pedigree depth to command respect, being a half brother to Listed winner Zealously and coming off two trials, the latest at Scone two weeks ago. BEST DEFENCE (1) is the hardened maiden: last start was plain at Coonamble, but the wide early work gives some excuse and his Dubbo second two back reads well for this. PALA D'ORO (8) has been freshened and gets the blinkers on and weight relief after a debut placing. Can feature.
