Nancy Race 1 - Prix Xavier De Vregille Claiming Chase
MESSUA DE LABRUNIE (1) looks well placed to register her second win in four steeplechase starts following a 1L second over 3800m at Segre. SANTORINI (4) could prove the main danger switching to fences following a 32L ninth in a 3550m hurdle at Fontainebleau on her return from a break. SERIAL WINNER (2) managed to take a step forward running 11L sixth trying 3600m at Auteuil providing his first handicap run. Shortlist making steeplechase debut. MIGHTYWOOD (5) came home 27L sixth contesting a 3800m hurdle at this venue. Of note despite unseating on her initial steeplechase outing at Le Pertre on her penultimate attempt.

Last outing lost his rider at this track on October 11 over 3800m. Before that made some head-way from midfield; ran last at Strasbourg on September 20 over 3600m, on slow going 53 len behind Freckles carrying 68kg at $30.50. Easier field here and is worth including in the multiples if finds best.
