Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. LA SUERTE (4) is resuming from a spell of 12 weeks and having her first run for the Kym Afford yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Aramac over 1000m. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. SCARLET HAZE (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1100m at Emerald, beaten 8 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. PULL THE CATCH (1) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at Texas, most recently beaten half a length into second over 1075m at Thangool. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
