SHIMMERING SUN (8) was a good winner on debut in a novice race at Salisbury securing a 1L victory. Failed to follow up when seventh in the G2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot five weeks ago. Might bounce back. BELLE OF THE BALL (3) was a good 4L winner at Cork on penultimate start. Missed the frame subsequently when fourth in the G2 Airlie Stud Stakes at The Curragh. Anticipated to be thereabouts. APRIL MIST (1) cannot be discounted having gained a maiden triumph at Bellewstown.
